The Power of Praise

"But you are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel." Psalm 22:3 (NKJV)

The Power of Praise

There’s something truly powerful about worshiping the Lord—when we focus on Him, offering our praises and adoration. In those moments, we sense His presence more deeply and keenly. Psalm 22:3 reminds us of a profound truth: “The Lord inhabits the praises of His people.” That word inhabits literally means enthroned. The Lord is enthroned upon our praises.

When we take time to praise and worship God, it’s as if we’re pulling up a chair for Him to sit upon. We’re inviting Him to be enthroned in our hearts and in our midst. Though we know God is always with us, in worship, we are offering Him a special place—one where we minister to Him, and in turn, become more aware of His presence.

So today, take time to worship. Pull up a chair for the Lord in your heart through praise and adoration. As you do, you’ll find yourself blessed beyond measure. There is something about lifting your voice in worship that invites God’s nearness in a way that touches your soul. It’s a moment where heaven meets earth, and the Lord is enthroned in the middle of it all.

Remember, the Father is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. When you worship Him, He draws near. Let’s be doers of this word today—worshiping Him, pulling up that chair, and experiencing His presence in new and powerful ways.

In Jesus' name, Amen and Amen.
