Faith, Hope, & Love

"And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

Faith, Hope, and Love

At the end of the day, when everything is said and done, it all comes down to three things: faith, hope, and love. That’s the truth 1 Corinthians 13:13 reveals to us, and it’s a foundation for living a life that pleases God.

Faith—living without manipulation, just trusting in God’s goodness and sovereignty. It’s letting go of the need to control outcomes and simply trusting that He knows what’s best for us.

Hope—living with heavenly anticipation. When we set our eyes on heaven, life here on earth becomes filled with joy and purpose. The more we long for heaven, the more we find joy in the everyday moments here and now.

Love—living life by seeing people as God sees them. It’s choosing to look beyond the surface and seeing the potential of every person to be transformed and glorified by God’s grace. Remember, God desires that none should perish, and that all should come to repentance. When we see people this way, we can love them more deeply and unconditionally.

Paul once said, "I know no man after the flesh." Let’s choose to do the same—viewing people in their glorified state, seeing them through the eyes of grace and redemption.

Faith, hope, and love—these three remain. And in living by them, we honor God and bless others. May the Lord bless you as you walk in faith, hope, and love today. Amen and Amen.
