Finding Hope After the Storm

Genesis 8:11 (New Living Translation)
"This time the dove returned to him in the evening with a fresh olive leaf in its beak. Then Noah knew that the floodwaters were almost gone."

Imagine you've faced a challenging season, maybe a tough school year, a personal loss, or a strained friendship. In these tough times, Genesis 8 offers us hope.

After a devastating flood, Noah sent out a dove, hoping for a sign that life was returning. When it came back with an olive leaf, Noah knew the storm was over. The fresh olive leaf symbolized new beginnings and restoration.

Just like Noah, you may face storms in your life. It might seem like the floodwaters are never-ending. But remember, after every storm, there is a fresh start, symbolized by the olive leaf.

God is there with you through the storm and He will be there to guide you towards new beginnings. Have faith that the struggles you're experiencing are temporary and that God is preparing a fresh start for you.

Pause & Pray:

1. Thank God for His promise of new beginnings after every storm.
2. Ask God for strength and patience during challenging times.
3. Pray for faith to trust in God's promise of restoration and His plans for a fresh start.
